code monkeys

code monkeys was an indie mobile game project about game development. it did not go anywhere, so these tracks are nothing now.

it was about 2016, i think, and the project lead said "make some music like Undertale", yes, that was the entire brief, i thought that was funny. (he later corrected to ask for "chiptunes".)
a friend of mine was working on the project and asked me to help out with music and graphics. i kinda owed him for a cool discord bot he helped me with. i bear no grudge cuz i learned how fun it was to write these. it was the first time i used REAPER so it was mostly a vst-using educational exercise.
as a bonus, i made low poly chunky™ 3d renders to use as album art for each track to accompany their upload to tumblr back then. lucky i did too, as i later lost most of my project files to a hard drive failure.
